Former Kogi State legislator DinoMelaye believes Nigerians deserve a certificate of survival at the end of President Muhammadu Buhari’s term in 2023.
In a video posted on his official Twitter feed, Melaye stated as much.
Being alive as a Nigerian after Buhari’s term, despite bandit attacks, kidnapping, and hunger, warranted credit, according to the Kogi lawmaker.
In the video, Melaye says, “I want to suggest that when Muhammadu Buhari’s term as President of Nigeria expires, due to famine, bandit killings, and kidnapping:
“Any Nigerian who survives, I propose that each Nigerian be granted a certificate of survival.
“May God protect us and anoint us to continue speaking the truth.”
Some pupils from Kaduna State’s Bethel Baptist School are still being kept captive by their kidnappers.
Bandits kidnapped the students in the early hours of Monday, July 5th.
On Monday, July 19th, one of the students was released due to health concerns.
