Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly have fast become one of the hottest couples in Hollywood, thanks to their effortless red carpet appearances and raunchy social media posts.
The relationship came as a surprise to fans when they were first spotted together in the summer of 2020, but the romance has been going from strength to strength.
Here’s a full timeline of their headline-making relationship…
March 2020: Connected on the set of their movie
Just before the pandemic began, Megan and MGK (real name Colson Baker) met on the Puerto Rico set of indie thriller, Midnight In The Switchgrass.
Production was halted due to the spread of Covid-19 but that didn’t stop the pair from keeping in contact.
May 2020: Snapped together before confirmation of Megan’s marriage split
The Jennifer’s Body was pictured grabbing a takaway in Calabasas with MGK, amid speculation her marriage to Brian Austin Green was over.
Three days later, on May 18, actor Brian confirmed the pair had been on a break since December 2019.
The former couple share three sons, Noah, seven, Bodhi, six, and three-year-old Journey.
May 2020: MGK releases a music video starring Megan
On May 20, MGK releases the video for his single, My Bloody Valentine, in which Megan playes a domineering girlfriend.
Megan shared a clip of her sultry appearance on Instagram with the caption ‘Bloody Valentine’ and a heart emoji.
July 2020: Finally Instagram official
In the weeks that followed, plenty of pictures in which the Transformers actress and the musician were seen getting cosy popped up all over the internet.
MGK even tweeted one of his lyrics that seemed to confirm their relationship status, writing: ‘I’m calling you my girlfriend, what the f**k… life imitated art on that one. ❤️🔪’
However, all was clear when they reunited with some of their Midnight In The Switchgrass cast on July 17.
In a picture shared by Randell Emmett, MGK could be seen with his arm wrapped around the actress.
The duo then appeared on podcasts in which they talked about being ‘twin flames’ and gushed all about their instant connection.
Machine Gun Kelly then made things Instagram official so there was no doubt about the relationship by that point.
November 2020: First red carpet appearance together
The hot couple turned heads at the American Music Awards and MGK made it clear he was delighted to have Megan on his arm for the occasion.
In an interview with Nylon that same month, he gushed about the positive impact she has had on his life.
‘Love is not what’s being encouraged now. In fact, it’s exactly the opposite: Everything now is isolation, dehumanization, separation,’ he explained. ‘And f**k, dude, you have in your head that you’re this rock star, with multiple women and all that. So, finding someone that can take you out of the fast lane and make sure that you’re safe, because at any minute you can crash – I love that it can evolve into that.’
March 2021: Taking their love to Las Vegas
The couple attended the UFC 260: Miocic vs. Ngannou 2 event four days after Kelly was accused of cheating on ex-girlfriend Sommer Ray with Fox.
The duo didn’t react to the claims while spending time in Nevada together on March 27. They were also seen spending time with Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker.
April 2021: Celebrating MGK’s 31st birthday
The couple spent the weekend celebrating with the fancy dinners, while the This Is 40 actress also made sure she was on hand to support her partner at his concerts in Florida.
Later, they enjoyed the UFC 261 fight where they kept up their PDA frenzy along with the likes of Travis and Kourtney.
May 2021: The one year anniversary of ‘I Love You’
Machine Gun Kelly revealed May 26 was the date that Megan Fox first said ‘I love you’. Much earlier than most fans would have predicted.
“She said ‘I love you’ one year ago today,” he wrote.
That same month, the couple continued to make headlines that to their attention-grabbing outfits at the Billboard Music Awards.
Megan opted for a NSFW black Mugler cut-out dress while MGK painted his tongue completely black.
August 2021: Teaming up for another movie
MGK revealed the couple would be appearing together in upcoming stoner comedy, Good Mourning With a U.
Marking as his directorial debut, the musician co-wrote the film with pal Mod Sun.
It will also star Dove Cameron, Whitney Cummings, GaTa, Becky G, Zach Villa, Jenna Boyd, Boo Johnson and Pete Davidson.
September 2021: Stealing the show at the MTV VMAs
The couple completely blew the minds of fans at the 2021 VMA’s together in very striking outfits.
MGK wore a dazzling red glittery suit while Megan opted for a shimmering, sheer Thierry Mugler paired with a bedazzled g-string.
Just days before, the Rogue actress had implied that the duo had fun times during a recent Airbnb stay.
‘When I tell you that the table at this air bnb saw some things 🥵,’ she wrote via Instagram, sharing two snaps of herself leaning against the table in question.
MGK commented: I’m really glad that’s not our table anymore.’
